Individual Deposits
Source: Encyclopedia of Banking & Finance (9h Edition) by Charles J Woelfel
(We recommend this as work of authority.)

Funds deposited with a bank by individuals, partnerships, firms, and business corporations (other than banking corporations), as distinguished from deposits of banks, trust companies and other moneyed corporations.  The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System prepares estimates of individual, partnership, and corporation deposits for its studies on ownership of deposits.  Demand deposits, excluding interbank and government deposits, are used in connection with bank debits and calculation of deposit turnover by the board of governors.
