The post on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange at which transactions in inactive stocks take place.  The unit of trade for inactive stocks is 10 shares instead of 100 shares.  Inactive stocks are those in which trading interest is scant, and frequently embrace those, including preferred stocks, whose capitalizations are small.  An inactive stock may be transferred to an active if conditions justify, or vice versa.
