Bond Register
Source: Encyclopedia of Banking & Finance (9h Edition) by Charles J Woelfel
(We recommend this as work of authority.)

An original entry record kept by a bank or trust company for entering the details of each purchase or sale of bonds belonging to the investment account.  From the register or journal, postings are made to the bond or securities ledger.  Bond register is also applied to the record kept by a corporation of its bonds sold direct, and to the records of the registrar of bonds, such as a bank or trust company, when acting in that capacity for a corporation which has issued registered bonds.
